Picnic FAQs
Keep in mind, these FAQs are geared towards small bookings. This does not apply to our specialty packages.
How do picnics work?
Visit our Picnic Experience page. Once you book a picnic via the booking form, we will contact you to confirm the booking and all the details. Picnics include set up and clean up. Once you arrive, everything is curated for you to enjoy.
What’s included?
Visit our Picnic Experience page. If you are not sure if something is included, just ask! Picnic set ups vary slightly due to seasonality and limited inventory. And, we like to try new things and experiment with creativity and themes.
Where do picnics take place?
We recommend enjoying summer picnics in the Sonoma Plaza.
Note: You can also request a specific location such as a park, backyard, private resident, or event venue. Picnic locations more than 10 miles from Petaluma will incur a travel fee. We are taking very limited picnics outside of the Sonoma Plaza bookings. If this is the case, please message us before booking online.
What food + drink is included in picnics?
For all picnics taking place at the Sonoma Plaza, we provide a picnic lunch for each guest. Each guest will choose a slice of pizza from Mary’s Slice Shack, along with a caesar salad to share, local dessert, and non alcoholic beverages.
You are more than welcome to bring any outside food or drink of your choice.
What if I am running late?
Please be punctual and arrive on time. If an emergency arrises and you are running late, please let us know. We will hang out at the picnic until you arrive. Your picnic end time will remain the same.
What if I need to leave early?
If you need to leave early, please let us know. We will meet you at the location ASAP. You absolutely cannot leave the picnic unattended. Please wait till we arrive and then you are welcome to leave.
